Soap Lake Healing Sculpture

A Sculpture Commemorating The Healing Waters of Soap Lake

Soap Lake Bronze Sculpture

The Vision

The man is calling the healing waters
His expression suggests he's calling the Healing Spirit with a knowing expectation

The woman is the vessel, the receiver
The bowl suggests portability
Perhaps to take the healing waters
To the needy

Together they become givers of the gift of healing

As the installation of the “Calling the Healing Waters” sculpture/sundial draws near, (est. Spring 2008) the Soap Lake Garden Club needs to raise money to complete the site design and construction phases. To date the Club has raised over $110,000, paid for the sculpture ($80,000) and has $30,000 set aside for the final phases.
Once the sculpture/sundial was completed by the artists and arrived in Soap Lake (June, 2007) people realized this magnificent art represented something much more than just a sculpture.

Everyone realized the placement of the sculpture deserved a place of prominence and easy access.

Many ideas came forward making it obvious additional funds would be needed to move the project to a larger and more deserving scale than what was originally conceived.

In addition to many other fund raising activities, the Club has been selling Memorial Stones to raise the additional monies needed to complete the expanded project. The total cost for the site design, engineering, construction and installation is estimated at $165,000.

Here is a rare opportunity to be connected to something greater than yourself and make a permanent statement for history to see. We’re not talking ethereal stuff like data on a computer but stones sandblasted with your message. You can memorialize a loved one, commemorate an event or make your own statement of significance.

Ideas are limited only to your imagination. Some have strung together more than one stone for a longer message. Others offer messages of healing and peace and thought provoking questions.
