The Vision
The man is calling the healing waters
His expression suggests he's calling the
Healing Spirit with a knowing expectation
The woman is the vessel, the receiver
The bowl suggests portability
Perhaps to take the healing waters
To the needy
Together they become givers of the gift of healing

Soap Lake is one of those little communities set apart from the hustle and bustles of the big cities, where people connect in ways lost in more urban areas. My wife and I first discovered it on the Internet and were curious about the Giant Lava Lamp and the lakes famous healing waters.
We lived in the greater Seattle area about 3 hours drive away. After our first visit we were hooked on the sunshine, the water, and the community. For nearly two years we came often during different times of the year. We would relax and unwind in a weekend and always enjoyed the wonderful theater productions at the state of the art Masquers Theater on Main Street.
Our favorite time is during the Lava Run motorcycle rally. My wife and I are both motorcycle enthusiasts and love the have fun, let it hang out, atmosphere. The ride up the Grand Coulee corridor with hundreds of bikers is exhilarating.
We eventually moved here in the summer of 2006 and have not looked back. We never tire of the views of the lake and the wonderful sense of belonging we have in this community. Come visit us, you might get hooked too!

Be a Part of History

Memorial Stone (5" x 10") for Promontory Plaza
Here is a rare opportunity to be connected to something greater than yourself and make a permanent statement for history to see. We’re not talking ethereal stuff like data on a computer but stones sandblasted with your message. You can memorialize a loved one, commemorate an event or make your own statement of significance.
Ideas are limited only to your imagination. Some have strung together more than one stone for a longer message. Others offer messages of healing and peace and thought provoking questions.
